Barbara H. Walker is an artist and interior designer. She has been featured in Southern Living Magazine, the Charlotte Observer, and the Home and Garden TV Network. She was creator and owner of Bright Touches, a gift accessories company to the trade. In 1990 she sold her company which brought her to North Carolina as Vice President of product development.Afterwards, Barbara owned a specialty interiors shop, and was the owner of a children's furniture and design store. After selling her store Barbara turned her knowledge and talents to rewarding work in interior design.

Barbara has been awarded 1st Place for Room Design by the Interior Design Society at the Trust House spring '08 Showhouse. In 2009 she received 2nd Place at Showhouse at Sunset Villa, Crowder Mountain. With over four decades of art and design work, Barbara's expertise and abilities are unparalled. With a background in painting and guilding accessory design, Barbara has a keen eye for color. She has the creative ability to transform what you have into something it is not. Whether it is consultation for someone who wants to do it themselves or it is someone who wants a designer to execute their vision. Barbara loves the challenge in creating for her clients that comfortable, asthetically pleasing home.
